ONFR+ Shawn Jobin. Summer 2024

This is the first of this series from this past summer. It was a lot of fun running around with the crew from ONFR+. It was sure nice to get to record musicians in the wild.

Shawn Jobin, one of Saskatchewan's most well-known francophone hip-hop artists, tells us about his journey. Having studied in English in Quebec, then in French in Saskatchewan, linguistic identity is one of his main sources of inspiration. This report marks the launch of our series "Micro & boussole en Saskatchewan", where Rachel Crustin, journalist at ONFR, sets out to discover francophone artists and composers from this province.
